Welcome to Alpha Academies Trust

The Alpha Academies Trust has been established to create a network of academies in North Staffordshire. Our focus is to ensure every child has equality of opportunity and an entitlement to a first-rate education in order to gain the skills that will make them successful. We want to act as a positive catalyst in our community and, by working closely with employers and other stakeholders, establish an ambition for every child that inspires others.

The Alpha Academies Trust works in partnership with a number of outstanding schools and academies, as well as regional education expert advisors. In addition to these established networks we draw extensively on our successful experience in school improvement, finance and governance to develop the Trust. The positive reputation that the Trust and its academies have established over the years continues to grow and has resulted in many of our academies being oversubscribed. The Local Authority and the Department for Education have supported the Trust’s expansion, increasing the number of places it offers with a £3million growth programme.

The Trust’s values system is based around a family of academies working together to achieve the very best for children. Our approach is community centred sharing professional expertise. Through this collaborative style, we maintain the individual character of our academies whilst benefiting from their expertise to improve educational experience and outcomes. This approach has attracted a number of good academies to join our multi academy trust. A case study submitted from an academy who recently joined us can be found on this link.

If you are interested in the work of the Trust and would like to support us in any way – either as an employer, a member of staff, a parent, a pupil, or a governor then please contact us.

Hello,
A number of children across school are mentioning that they have watched Squid Games on Netflix.
If you are not aware of this new programme it is highly inappropriate for children to be watching and contains graphic scenes and violence. It is also rated as 15+
Attached is a poster to explain how to alter your settings on Netflix so that children are not watching inappropriate content for their age. Please share and help us to keep your children safe.
We have also been notified that there is a Roblox version of Squid Games on YouTube and this is equally inappropriate for primary aged children.
Please monitor children's online activity at home to help keep them safe.
Any questions please don't hesitate to speak to a member of staff.
Thanking you the safeguarding team Mrs Smith, Ms Gwilt and Miss Jackson
