Stephen Packham

Stephen is a Trustee of the Alpha Academies Trust and member of the Standards Committee and the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee.
Following a BSc in mathematics at Imperial College London, Stephen trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG before undertaking financial management roles with Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and the Strategic Rail Authority. He joined the education sector in 2006 as Finance and Resources Director of the West Midlands Learning and Skills Council, later fulfilling successive roles at the Skills Funding Agency, finally as Director of Financial Management. He is currently employed as Director of Finance and Operations at Lichfield Cathedral.
