Sarah Milne

Sarah is an experienced Executive Leader in education with a strong focus on inclusion and safeguarding. She is
an Executive Leader for a diocesan Multi-Academy Trust in the West Midlands. She leads strategic initiatives to
improve outcomes for children, including policy development, adaptive teaching, attendance improvement, and
exclusion prevention.
Sarah has extensive experience in coordinating professional networks and delivering training for educational
leaders, as well as shaping national programmes to strengthen SEND provision (including co-authoring parts of
the new NPQ SEND programme). Her work includes supporting local authorities with pre-statutory SEND
strategies and contributing to national conferences that promote best practice in safeguarding and SEND. She
holds a Master of Research, reflecting her research-led approach to leadership.
Beyond her professional role, Sarah actively contributes to governance as both a Trustee and parent Governor,
championing school improvement and inclusion.
