Matt is a Trustee of the Alpha Academies Trust and member of the Audit, Finance & Risk Committee.
He is an Economics graduate and a chartered accountant. He has held senior international board level roles across a range of sectors including higher education, manufacturing, engineering, and retail. A keen strategic thinker, he has acquired a wealth of experience throughout his career of mergers & acquisitions, driving profitable growth of organisations and working closely with UK regulators.
Most recently Matt was Chief Financial Officer with a privately owned university, investing in innovative digital technologies to fulfil his passion for widening access and participation of educational opportunities to all.
Matt is a strong advocate for opening up educational availability for all children and providing the opportunities to develop the next generation of leaders.
