Debbie Torjussen

Debbie is a Chartered Accountant since 2004 after joining KPMG (Stoke) as a graduate in 2001 and is currently Chief Financial and Operations Officer at Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group. Debbie has held senior roles in education finance for 20 years including within the school funding team for a local authority and secondary, further, higher and private education. She has extensive experience of Budgeting, Audit, Risk Management, Estates, Governance, HR, Compliance and Legal. Debbie graduated from Keele University with a dual honours degree in English and Finance and has predominantly worked in the Stoke/Staffordshire area since then. She is passionate about making a difference to young people and maximising resources to ensure they are targeted to give maximum benefit.
