Dave Hughes

Dave is an Independent Governor on the local governing body of Sneyd Academy. He is a parent of 2 children, 1 of whom attends the Academy.
In his professional life, Dave is a Commercial Manager within the Sainsbury’s Group, with over 20 years’ experience in industry. Dave brings vast experience in operations, HR and the delivery of business change within organisations and has worked alongside some globally renowned consultancy firms.
Dave believes that he can bring a different perspective to the governing body and is keen to support the academy on its development journey.
