Lesley Morrey

Lesley is a Trustee of the Alpha Academies Trust. She has over 30 years of management experience in healthcare and education. She has been a Director at Newcastle & Stafford Colleges Group with responsibilities relating to student engagement and external partnerships and is currently the Principal of City of Stoke-on-Trent 6th Form College. Lesley is a progressive leader who works tirelessly to ensure that young people are able to achieve and be the very best that they can be.
Lesley’s ability to work in collaboration with stakeholders and partners has enabled her to establish significant networks that have a positive impact on removing the barriers to achievement and success for young people.
She is passionate about safeguarding and keeping young people safe. She is the current chair of the Stoke on Trent Head Teachers Prevent Board, also working with the Department for Education on their Prevent awareness raising campaigns.
Lesley has a CertEd from Manchester University and an MBA in Leadership from Keele University.
