Clare Thomas

Clare is a Trustee of the Alpha Academies Trust and is a member of Audit, Finance and Risk Committee.
She has wide ranging experience in a number of areas, including commercial risk management, corporate governance, corporate ethics, compliance management and employment law and practice and is a member of the Law Society and Institute of Risk Managers.
Clare has spent a number of years employed as a construction lawyer in private practice and as a major projects lawyer at a utility company. She has significant strength and depth of experience in managing large scale infrastructure projects, including delivery to the education sector.
Clare is keen to contribute to the work of the Trust and play a part in ensuring children are experiencing a wide range of opportunity from inspirational teachers. She holds a BA Hons in History from the University of Liverpool.
