On Friday 13th November, we will be supporting Children in Need to support the fundraising for those children less fortunate.
'Together, we can change young lives.'
This year, there is more of an overt focus on mental well-being. Therefore, we are inviting all children to come to school wearing spots but also wearing / displaying an inspirational /motivational word / phrase / quote. This could be displayed on their top, written onto their clothing, worn as a badge / sticker etc.
We'll then talk / explore these words/phrases/messages during the day as we take part in different activities.
We ask for a £1 donation to go towards BBC Children in Need.
We would like to remind all parents/carers of the importance of advising the academy if your child/ren will be travelling, or have travelled anywhere in the UK or abroad across the half term week. This is of key importance in enabling us to keep our communities safe and well, across the half term break and when we return on 2nd November. Please see the links below for all government updates on travelling abroad and on Covid alert levels and tiers of intervention in the UK, and advise the academy of any planned/actual travel.
The academy's autumn term will end on Thursday17th December 2020. The academy will be closed to all pupils from this date, until the beginning of the spring term on Tuesday 5th January 2021. ... See MoreSee Less
